Two powerful therapies, one transformative experience.
An intensive pairs EMDR and clinical hypnotherapy in an extended, immersive format that allows deep processing without the stop-start of a weekly 50-minute hour. When your nervous system has time to fully engage, profound change becomes possible.
EMDR — Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing
EMDR is a highly researched, evidence-based psychotherapy endorsed by the World Health Organization, the American Psychological Association, and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for the treatment of PTSD and trauma.
Using bilateral stimulation (eye movements, tapping, or sound), EMDR activates the brain’s natural information-processing system — allowing distressing memories to be reprocessed so they no longer trigger overwhelming emotional or physical reactions. The memory doesn’t disappear; it simply loses its grip.
In an intensive format, multiple reprocessing sessions occur over consecutive days, allowing the brain to consolidate progress and work through complex trauma layers that weekly sessions may take years to reach.

Clinical Hypnotherapy
Clinical hypnotherapy is a therapeutic application of focused awareness and deep relaxation — not stage hypnosis. In a hypnotic state, the critical, defensive mind softens, creating direct access to the subconscious beliefs, emotional memories, and protective patterns driving unwanted behaviors and symptoms.
Combined with EMDR, hypnotherapy deepens reprocessing, accelerates nervous system regulation, and helps install new beliefs and resources at the subconscious level. It is highly effective for anxiety, phobias, chronic pain, grief, performance blocks, and trauma-related dissociation.
Our clinicians are trained in evidence-informed hypnotherapeutic methods including ego-state therapy, regression, and parts work — tailored to your unique history and goals.
Why an Intensive?
Everything weekly therapy can’t give you.
Traditional therapy is valuable — but 50 minutes a week means most of your session is spent catching up, and your nervous system barely has time to open before it’s time to close again. Intensives change the equation entirely.
An intensive may be right for you if…
Intensives are not one-size-fits-all. They work best for individuals who are ready to commit deeply and want significant change in a concentrated window.
- You have a specific trauma — an accident, assault, loss, or medical event — that continues to affect daily life despite other treatment
- You’ve been in therapy for years but feel stuck, like you’re talking about the same things without real change
- You’re struggling with PTSD, complex PTSD, or childhood trauma and want a powerful, targeted treatment
- You live with anxiety, panic attacks, phobias, or OCD and want root-cause healing rather than ongoing symptom management
- You’re preparing for a major life transition — career change, relationship shift, relocation — and want to clear the past before moving forward
- You prefer a defined, contained therapeutic experience rather than open-ended weekly commitment
- You’re a high-performer dealing with burnout, perfectionism, imposter syndrome, or performance anxiety
- You live outside our area and need to travel for specialized care — our intensive format was built for you

Choose the depth your healing requires.

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before you book.
Healing work requires encountering difficult material, and many clients experience emotional intensity during sessions. Sessions also include grounding and integration time so you leave each day feeling settled. In the days and weeks after an intensive, clients often notice shifts in sleep, emotional regulation, relationships, and their relationship to past memories. Integration support sessions are a core part of every intensive package.
We treat single-incident trauma (accidents, assault, medical trauma), complex and developmental trauma, PTSD and C-PTSD, anxiety and panic disorders, grief and loss, phobias, relational trauma, burnout, performance anxiety, and trauma related to identity or sexuality.
Investment varies based on the format selected and the specific clinical needs identified in your consultation. Intensives are priced as a complete package including pre- and post-intensive sessions. Payment plans are available. We provide a Superbill for potential out-of-network insurance reimbursement. Please contact us for current fee information.
We work with out-of-area clients regularly. We can assist with accommodation recommendations near our office and will schedule your pre-intensive intake and post-intensive follow-ups via telehealth (where legally permissible). Contact us to discuss the options for your state or country of residence.
Yes, and we encourage collaboration with your current therapist. Many clients do an intensive to break through a plateau in their existing therapy, then return to their regular therapist with significant gains already made. We are happy to coordinate care with your treating clinician with your written consent.
Our intensives are clinical psychotherapy delivered by licensed mental health professionals — not wellness programming. We treat diagnosable conditions including PTSD, anxiety disorders, depression, and complex trauma. All sessions are conducted in a private, professional clinical setting, not a group retreat environment.
No. Most clients come to us without prior experience in either modality. Your pre-intensive session will introduce you to both approaches and ensure you feel grounded and prepared before the intensive begins. Prior therapy experience of any kind is welcome but not required.
Safety is our first priority. Intensives always begin with stabilization and resource-building before any trauma reprocessing. Sessions are paced according to your nervous system’s readiness — you are never pushed beyond what is therapeutically appropriate. Our clinicians are trained in trauma-sensitive care and titrated approaches for complex presentations.
Client Experiences
What healing actually looks like.
“I had been in therapy for six years talking about my childhood. In three days with EMDR and hypnotherapy, I processed more than in all those years combined. I left feeling lighter than I have since I was a child. I still can’t fully explain it — I just know something fundamental shifted.”
“I flew in from another state specifically for this intensive. The investment was significant, but it was the best money I have ever spent on my mental health — possibly my entire life. The panic attacks I had lived with for a decade are simply gone. Six months later and they haven’t returned.”
“As someone who was skeptical of hypnotherapy, I was surprised by how grounded and in control I felt throughout. The combination of EMDR and hypnotherapy didn’t feel like two separate things — it felt like one coherent, deeply intelligent process. My therapist held space like nothing I’ve experienced before.”
